All Volunteers need to arrive at the WAG Park no later than 9:30 AM unless notified otherwise by a WAG Race official. Aid Stations & Course Guides
There will be four aid stations along the course. One at Memorial Park (2nd & Pine) for the 15k and 4 mile and three more along the 15k course. All will have water and a toilet. All Run Whitefish races are cup-free races. This means you’ll need to carry your own bottle. We will have a water station at the start/finish area with water bottles and Hydra-Pouches available for purchase (15k participant receive a HydraPouch with registration). Volunteers will also be at all intersections to cheer you on and make sure you stay on course. Any participants running slower than 15 minute miles may find aid stations and intersections vacant of volunteers! If you stop without finishing the race then you need to check in with a volunteer, police officer or WAG Race official before leaving. Otherwise, we’ll waste unnecessary time looking for you!
Age Divisions
will update soon
Children Participation
Children 10 and under race for free! Unless your child is in a stroller, you’ll need to register them as well. This way we can make sure everyone is off the course safely. They’ll receive a timing chip and bib number. If your child wants food and/or shirt, please do not register them for the 10 and under free divisions, but one of the regular divisions instead.
Dog Participation
Participants are encouraged to run or walk with your canine companion on a leash. Because the 15k course will be USATF certified having a dog attached would disqualify you for any USATF records, but not locally. Anyone who chooses to run with a dog will have results posted in separate divisions.
Awards and Prizes
will update soon
Food
Lunch will be provided by Sally’s Bakery & Deli and Ice cream will be provided by Sweet Peaks. All food and drink including a glass is included in registration fees.
